Instructions

In Matthew we see our instructions from the Lord: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matt 28:19-20 “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

 

Results

In Revelation we see the results of our witness in a scene in the throne room in heaven: “the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, … And they sang a new a song saying, ‘Worthy are You … for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.’” Rev 5:8b-10
